(Moving, New Job, New School)
My Dearest Family,
A new chapter is beginning for us, and with it comes a mix of emotions—excitement, anxiety, hope, and maybe a little fear of the unknown. That is all perfectly normal! Change, even positive change, can be challenging. But as we stand on the brink of this new adventure, I want to remind you of the most important constant we have: each other.
Wherever we go, whatever we do, we are not just a house, we are a home. Our home isn’t defined by four walls and a roof; it’s defined by the love, laughter, and support we share. That is something we carry with us in our hearts, and it can never be left behind. So, as we step into this new environment, let’s promise to be each other’s safe harbor. Let’s be patient as we all adjust, and let’s talk openly about our feelings—the good and the bad.
Let’s also choose to see this as a thrilling opportunity. It’s a blank canvas for us to paint new memories on. We will make new friends, discover new favorite places, and learn new things about the world and about ourselves. We will face this adventure not as isolated individuals, but as a united front, hand in hand. I am so incredibly proud to be navigating this journey with you. My confidence doesn't come from the situation itself, but from the amazing people I get to call my family. Together, we can make this new beginning beautiful.
