My very brief response......"Ballot Boxes"
Inspecting of "ballot boxes" goes against the fundamental principles of any Democracy. For example, St Vincent and the Grenadines Constitution: Section 27; Article (3) states; "In any election of representatives the votes shall be given by ballot in such manner as not to disclose how any particular person votes".
Moreover, International Human Rights Instruments such as; the International Covenant on Civil & Political Rights (ICCPR. 1966), Article (25); speaks of Everyone has the Right "to vote and to be elected at genuine periodic elections which shall be by universal and equal suffrage and shall be held by "secret ballot", guaranteeing the free expression of the will of the electors".
Thus, making NDP arguments a misinterpretation and misapplication of the Legal Framework both Domestic and International.......once again the NDP has proven to the Public that their aim is to undermine the Governance of St Vincent and the Grenadines even if that means refusing to uphold the Rule of Law.
