SAINT VINCENT AGAIN ON THE MOVE
On Monday, January 18, 2016 two Resident Ambassadors presented Letters of Credence to H.E Sir Frederick Ballantyne, Governor General of Saint Vincent and the Grenadines.
Her Excellency Vilma Reyes Valdespino, Resident Ambassador of Cuba to Saint Vincent and the Grenadines and His Excellency Yuri Pimentel, Resident Ambassador of Venezuela to Saint Vincent and the Grenadines presented their credentials at Government House at 10am and 11am, respectively.
In addition, both Ambassadors made courtesy calls on Prime Minister, the Hon. Dr. Ralph Gonsalves and the Hon. Sir Louis Straker, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, Trade, Commerce and Regional Integration.
Saint Vincent and the Grenadines established diplomatic relations with the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela on October 29, 1981 and with the Republic of Cuba on May 26, 1992 and is enjoying excellent relations with both countries
