Our people didn't volunteer to be slaves, they were hunted down like animals, beaten, kidnapped, chained, and hurdled into those deep sea dungeons, starved, raped, wounded and washed with salt water, by the time they reached the new world those that survived the voyage was barely alive, still they struggled to be free, 'You cannot chain a person who doesn't except slavery as their only mental capacity', if you want to be free, you must first unshackle your minds, then you will have the key to unshackle your bodies permanently...
