WORRIED BUSH

Report: Bush worried he would be 'last Republican president'

Former President George W. Bush in April privately revealed his concerns that Donald Trump could permanently bring down the Republican Party, according to a new report.

“I’m worried that I will be the last Republican president,” Bush said at a reunion for his administration in Dallas, Politico Magazinereported Tuesday morning.
Most members of the Bush family have been outspoken critics of Trump.
Bush and his father, former President George H.W. Bush, both skipped the Republican National Convention in Cleveland this year, and former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush said he would not vote for Trump in the presidential election.
