IN TRINIDAD AND TOBAGO WATER AND SEWAGE AUTHORITY UNDER FIRE
Approximately 1000 employees of the Water and Sewage Authority's (WASA) Head Office located at Farm Road, St. Joseph will not report to work today as the structural integrity of the building may have been compromised because of the fire that swept the Corporate and Communications and the Record Departments on Tuesday.
Despite the high likelihood that many records were destroyed, WASA’s Communications Officer, Daniel Plenty has given word that the company has backups in the form of soft copies.
The Authority however advised that the fire will in no way affect their ability to supply water across the nation.
