Repairs and refurbishments of the Glen Hard Court, at the foot of the Fairhall Gov't School are almost complete. We rounded up private donors, corporate donors, government support and community self help to get this project going.
* New Fencing for the hardcourt, which had broken down
* Repaired the floodlights, which were not functioning due to electrical wiring issues
* Steps leading up the side of the Faithall Gov't school, so that children and residents didn't have to slip down the dirt path that existed before
* Resurfacing of the hard court
Still some cosmetic work to be done; some lines to be painted on the court, and a little clean-up, but we're getting there! Can't wait to celebrate its grand re-opening!! Stay tuned!
